As it is the 1 Year Anniversary Show, I thought that I should remark that yes, I made it!

Episode 14:

Owing to the fact that Detective Comics #408 and #409 took place in Madrid, I went for a Spanish-feeling song. Listen and enjoy the sounds of Rodrigo y Gabriela's "Diablo Rojo"



The segue music is "My Boyfriend's Back" by The Angels!

Episode 13:

What a fantastic musical opportunity I had this month! First, I used The Beatles "Let it Be" as the intro music. This is not only in celebration of John Lennon's 70th birthday, but also because the song really fits the hippy-ish feel of the Detective Comics reviewed in this issue.



The segue music is Michael Jackson's "Thriller." What better way to celebrate the month of Halloween and Batgirl #14?!

Episode 12:

The intro music is "I Hate Myself for Loving You" by Joan Jett. I think that this really represents Veda's hate/love for Billy Warlock.



The segue music is "Trust Me" by Janis Joplin. Here we have the theme song for the Batgirl/Det. Nick relationship in Batgirl #13.



I'm happy that this episode uses some vintage music. I will try to do this more often!

Episode 11:

The intro (once again changed) features "First Time" by Lifehouse. This best represents the first partnership between Batgirl and Robin.




The segue music is "What If This Storm Ends" by Snow Patrol, a good song describing the resolution of the "Flood" arc in Batgirl.

Episode 10: Interview with Bryan Q. Miller

On a suggestion from a friend of the podcast, Jeffrey, the opening music is Dessa's "Children's Work." Dessa's work is very eclectic but her verses are poetic. I highly recommend checking out this artist!
