Episode 7.5: The Wonder Woman Show:

Besides the obvious original intro rap by Bubba Moose, this episode contains the Wonder Woman Season 1 Intro.

The outro music is "She's So High" by Tal Bachman.

Episode 7:

The intro music is "Paper Planes" by MIA. I got the idea for using this song after reading Adventure Comics #381.

The transition music is "No Rain" by Blind Melon. Such a fitting song to begin an arc called "The Flood!"

The outro music is a song from an artist I've recently become fond of, "Dreams" by Brandi Carlile. A fitting end that matches a great story in Brave and the Bold #33.

Episode 6:

As there was a lot of death, sickness, and overall sadness in this episode, I tried to pick music that reflected all of that.

The intro music Armor for Sleep's The Truth About Heaven

The segue music is Sixx: A.M.'s Life is Beautiful

The closing music is The Wreckers' The Good Kind

Episode 5:

This is a song that my friend Christine and I often listened to while racing through town in her Audi. I also thought it was an especially poignant song since Babs just needs to stick it to the world after this set of issues!

A classic! I thought of this song for an intermission while reading Brave and the Bold #78...Batgirl and Wonder Woman-karaoke, anyone?

Episode 4:

This episode features "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence. This was wisely recommended by my special guest, Kevin Cushing. As he so eloquently told me, it is a strong song about origins and it really fits not only Batgirl: Year One, but the character of Barbara Gordon as well!

Episode 3:

The intro music for this episode is "What is This Feeling?" sung by the Original Broadway Cast of Wicked (leads played by Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenowith). This really gets at the animosity and angry felt throughout the issues reviewed.

I'm not sure if I'll continue doing intermissions, but I knew this episode was going to be a longer episode so I decided to create a break. One of my favorite "Hero" songs is by the Foo Fighters, "My Hero" and I thought it gave some flavor to the show.

Episode 2:

The opening music for Episode 2 is "Just a Girl" by No Doubt. This rock song possibly gets to the frustrations of Barbara as she competes with the boys!
